I am hope

I am Hope
Dazzling, golden, sunlight personified
Elusively I float, a butterfly
Poetry with wings,
Fluttering ahead, beyond human reach
I encourage, I promise, I sooth aching hearts
A foundation of comfort,I never abandon
A friend to all souls who have lost their way.
I am here.
I am hope.

  1. Hope. With hope all things seem possible. My life verse is all about hope. Romans 15:13: "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." D :)

  3. Love how the poem is formed to resemble the subject. Concrete poetry, yes.

  5. What a great poem for a Sunday. I have read it several times and find something in it each time that speaks of what we need in this world right now. I have watched the news this morning that is filled with terrible things going on, and then to read this poem about hope - thank you. I needed that.

  7. A wonderful reflection on hope.
Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

  9. Hope is what gets us out of bed in the morning. I can't say how much I love this (except I just did). This would make a GREAT poster hung around for peeps to see. They need to see it.
